POST FOUR

1.Explain what is meant by the dichotomy between the Internet as Content Transmitter and Internet as Communication Too? Explain your perspective on this dichotomy.

Internet consider as a communication tools between teacher, student and all other people. Internet provides content to student in deferent way. Internet provides people with deferent content that depend on their need. Teacher and student use internet to communication and share their information between each other. Internet give the chance to each student to shat with his teacher about any concern and problem that student face it by using different fetchers email ,blogs, messenger discussion forms or video type it. Also each student can shat with each other as study gropes by using internet devises and they can get feed pack very quick with each other. Teacher can give lecture by using internet device or recorded his voice and posted in professor website or black board.

I like on line classes because it is new experience for me in this class. I have done a lot of research to know if my answer is Wright o wrong, communicate with my teacher by using e mail. But I know very well I cannot use this technology with my student because they are children because I am preschool teacher.

2. How can good instructional design ensure that the course meets student needs?

From my experience .I think when teacher ask student what they want to learn in this course and designed his course that match there want. Also , when student interact with teacher face to face so teacher can know how did student understand the information. Also , when professor want to make shore that all student understand lecture, the professor will ask a lot of question and give home work to student. The successful professor provide his student with syllabus that has all the information about the course so student can prepare himself very well and know what to do each lesson that is the accomplishment that professor want to receive when his student understand his lesson.

3. How can good instructional design ensure course quality?

When a good instruction creates designed for his course. The instruction must go over the material of the course. Also he must ask his self how to presented to student in positive way .Also, how course working at the same rate or not and at the end evaluate the course very well. Moreover, professor must be concern about the quality of the information that he provided to student. Professor provide his information through deferent way by face to face lecture, if he want to get quick feedback from student or using on line devises like video type his lecture and use dissection bored so that can make the class more effective .when professor give online lecture he must be shore that all student connected with him in the same time so this professor can go all over the answer in flexible way.

4. What is the difference between course level and individual activity level design?

The course level will be focus on specific objective of this course and different activity that passed on technology like lecture, blogs and shat with teacher and using blackboard.

Individual activity level depends on student sharing there information with each other and using e mail and chatting room.

5. Using the first three stages of the ADDIE (or another) instructional design model, explain how you would go about developing an online course. Note: You do not have to deal with delivering the course at this time

Start with Analysis: What methods would you use to understand:

a. Student individuality and outlook

Students don’t have a lot of experience with blogs, website ,podcasts and html codes . Teacher and instructions are attracted on develop their technology skills convention in their classrooms, but the big problem is how to educated there student when there get started .

b. Instructor individuality and outlook

Instructor is expert in using blogs, website and podcasts and well known html codes. That can inrush his class with a lot of information so his class can be more helpful to his student .

c. Content of the program

Contents will consist of education technology like video and audio.

d. How to Determine if Content Has Been Learned

To determine content has been learned is to make each student create their own blog, website and podcast for their class by give clear information to them and go over each step that they have done so for in their new skills.

Next deal with Design: What method or process would you use to design the course? What kinds of constraints would your CMS force on you as a designer?

To design the course I would use university library to read a lot of books about blogs. When student use blogs at first time they will face difficulty because it will be a new experience for them .After student finch creating there blogs they will send me an e mail of the most difficult part that they are face it so that I can help them and give them quick feedback on where they are having tripled with it. The CMC will limited student and teacher creativity because it provide teacher with limited tool so teacher can not develop there skills .

Finally, explain how you would do development and testing of content.

In developing my designed , I will provide my student t all the information that they need to create there one blog and fallow them a step by step when they sent it to me by e mail . I will provide my student video type that show and explain to them how to create a good blog . At the end I will To test MY student on the thing that I thought them to do , I will show them how this program is easy to use. Also, I will explain and show power point samples of how different kind of technology can be useful in the classroom and use it in useful way .

1- Learner-Content:

In on line class the communication between teacher and student is the main focus in on line learning process, because these types of learning depend on quick feedback from each student. The main person in learning process is the teacher because this person is the only one who responds of student success. Interaction is necessary to the educational process. By interacting with the subject matter that the teachers gives to student. Also teacher try to make student understanding of the learner changes and personal creation of knowledge. Every teacher must give clear view about content that teacher give it to student and explain it to the student and modify what is the purpose of taking this course. The teacher can give the lecher in different way by video tape it and pose it in his website and at the end of listening each student to the lecher this teacher put several question to know if each student understand it. The teacher must provide his student with update information to make his course effective and allow each student to chat with him about the course.

2- Learner-Instructor:

Inter action between student and teacher make learning more fun and useful . also make information for student more organized. When teacher inter act with each student in on line class by asking question that mean this teacher come close to each student so each student can talked with this teacher without feeling stress or fail. The flexible teachers that give clear information to his student this student become expert and motivated in his course. The student in on line class are more in depended because each student in this course do a lot of search to looked for each. Information that student study it . In on line class student can communicate with his professor by sending e mail to him. Teacher can motivated and support each student by in acreage them to answer his question without grade it. In on line class successful teacher offer there helped all the time for his student to make leaning his course more active.

3- Learner-learner:

The student will be more inter act between each other and more value in areas of evaluation the course. In on line class each student can communicate with his fried an sharing information and receive feed back by using chatting in line for example .when each student like answer a philosophy question with another student this student can extend his knowledge and get a new idea in this course by using messenger program. In On line class some student can help each other to solve their course problem by asking professor for help or try to solve it by themselves.

Course number 1:

Beginning college algebra.
the major characteristics that would influence the design of online class. Is depend on the budget and high speed wireless connection and the valuable on line learning program that enrich learning environment.

Instructor(s): professors that teach these freshman students at the algebra college have different degree of technology skills and online teaching. The professor must know there student ability to learn and what their level in algebra. Each professor has their own style of learning some of them may use a high quality of technology. like use internet fetchers like create there own web side and, recorded there lecture on his web site so student can use it easily and this web site has privacy with their student. This teacher has high quality of teaching give there student a lot of exercise and question at the end of the lecture so this professor can review the exercise that the student does not answer it very well. The second type of professor use basic technology power point, charts, over head projector to in reach their class, video and E- mail.

Student: freshmen and sophomores must know how to use technology. Also, sharing there answer with their professor. Also there are successful in on line class. When the student use internet accesses they have to be familiar with it. Each student in algebra class are helpful with each other in case if the student does not know the answer of the question this student has many choices first he/she can send e mail to the professor . Each grope has tauter this student the professor submit them for their class to help other students that have difficulty with question .Each student in this class can communicate outside the university by chatting on the messenger chatting room to answer the difficult question.


Course number 2:

The course is a philosophy of leadership class.


In this case. The professor focus on tow way face to face meeting and on line program. In this algebra class the professor concentrate on the student skills of understanding the martial of the course and how to get the feedback from the student very fast. In this class the professor design a good environment and give question to know the improvement of his and each lecture that the professor give has several question at the end. At the end of this class the professor give student paper to evaluate his teaching skills so the professor can improve his skills .In this program the professor can communicate with student by recording his lecture in the black board each question that student answer the program correct them it is go with student step by step. In this class professor can also separate the class in gropes that can share information listening to the lecture at the black board ,ask for help from other student ,


Instructor(s):” The instructor is an experienced face-to-face instructor with good tech skills and prior online teaching experience. This instructor prefers lecture and discussion classes”. The professor must be creative when professor present his lecture to show student math is not that hard to learn. Also professor can support his lecture by providing video to in rich his lecture. the professor in this case can video type himself and post in black board so the student can go over the lecture many time if he/she does not understand, Also the professor can do links on his web site for chatting with his class if they need help.



Students: “Graduate students who are well motivated and with a wide range of technology skills, from very basic to very advanced.” This student are highly motivated and expert in there field. This student like to do a lot of research at certain type of topic that grab there attention. Moreover ,this student like to learn from different cores like book at library , internet and asking professional people who are expert and has experience in certain major.




Course number 3

Content: This course is an introduction to college success. It teaches study skills, communication skills, and tries to help students learn how to fit into the college community.

Instructor(s): This course will be by a range of instructors how has doctor degree all teacher has perfect tech skills and different online teaching experience . This course all professor will try to educated them self by support them self. There is a big chance to failed but the new try is worth to teach it. In this course the teacher will be more conches about their teaching skills and do a lot of exam to know if the student are well known the course very well,Also give student a lot of home work and e mail the student for any question, moreover there professor in this class may ask the student the perfect way for teaching that make them satisfied with the course

Students:” Students are incoming freshman who have been identified by advisors as high risk for drop out.”
In this class the professor need to support their student by doing Competitions between student .Each student answer the question correctly will get extra credit from the professor . In this course the professor can create a web page to communicate with his student

My Plan for my on line class:

In this class I will focus on develop my student skills to make them satisfy on my on line program that I provided for my college student. I will create privacy web site. This program only my student can use it because at the first page this program will ask about student nick name and pass word to log in. I will pose my assignment in this web site. Also, at the end of each podcast there are few questions that related to the home work that student must answer it and send it to my e mail. In my web site there will be links to my office hours that each student can schedule an appointment with theme. There will be a chatting room in specific time that each student can answer any kind of difficult question that they deal with in front of me and get quick feedback from me or tutor that I will provide him. Each student can communicate with each other. I well evaluate each student by med term and final exams, home work that I gave them in the end of each podcast and do a project is all about anything related to the subject that I teach. at the end of the class each student can evaluate his teacher so the professor can improve his skills.

Greetings,
My name is Amal Alsubki. I am from Saudi Arabia. I came to the USA to learn how to develop and create a web site and how to use it while I teach at school. I want my student to have a lot of information that can help them to succeed in their own life.

Now I try to take many classes to develop my technology teaching skills. For example, I took the500 class I learned a lot of technology skills, like creating my own web site that has a lot of link on it .Also, search for information by using web site or library.I hope to learn how to make a good website that everybody can share with me there information, picture and hopes.
Online learning is about how to connected and share information with other people in the same time but in different places. On line technology is depend on E-mail, video and sharing learning between teachers and student. Online technology is not complicated as I thought before. This technology gives the opportunity to a lot of people to learn from different places at the same time. This technology has many features like using information from the web site or library at the same time. This technology is considering one of the fast communication techniques of learning.
